      • Evidently, her business is not going well. Probably has NEVER gone really well; she's a freelance graphic designer. I think it's to the point that she's having trouble making the rent.

        Anyway, she asked me to lunch, to talk about a problem that she's having with one of her clients. I said fine, and asked her about the $700. She said we could talk about it over lunch, and see what we could work out.

        In terms of looks, she's a solid 8, and has a fun personality.

        If this is headed where I think it's headed... need to think about this.

        Nah. I've known her a couple of years. She's okay.

        But if she brings it up, it's definitely not going to be a quickie. I was thinking about telling her that I want a weekend. Show up Friday, leave Monday. Dinner, movies, and whatever else happens is on me, but other than that she needs to be ready for whatever happens.

        Nah. Small claims court is a pain in the ass.

        If I had my choice between the cash and doing here, I'd take the cash. But at this point, the cash isn't really a sure thing -- so it's more like a choice between doing her or maybe getting nothing at all.

        Plus, I have to admit, the idea of just doing whatever I wanted with her for a couple of days is growing on me.

        Who the fuck chooses graphic design as a career nowadays? Everybody has access to GIMP or PhotoShop. There are even free online apps that will create a company logo for you.
