It means they are a drama queen and an attention whore that should be ignored and marginalized from our social norms.

When they say they are a trans woman, they are likely a man transitioning to female, (or experimenting with the concept). Most experiment and ultimately decide that the change is to much for them to handle as they come to terms with the real root cause of their gender identity issue. The realize the grass is not that much greener, and on the other side are another set of gender related issues. Sometimes this realization doesn't occur until after hormone therapy has begun.
Many genetic females that want to be male have sexual abuse issues and their intent to be male is often relative to having a female partner who they wish to be in the male role with for one reason or the other, either to protect that other female or to block males form access her. These dynamics are usually the result of social isolation coupled with dysfunction rooted in cyclical sex abuse/inappropriateness patterns.

The original gender plays a role. A trans women is very likely gay male. And a trans man is likely a lesbian female wanting to go to an extreme to be male for a partner.
The issue is that they want to go to such extremes for a partner. I see it as an extreme form of codependency.

All of the answers to these questions are subsidiary and therefore are largely irrelevant to the fundamental issue, which is that they are severely mentally ill as a result of being morally degenerate.
If we "celebrated" bulimia and anorexia the way we are told we must "celebrate" these sick people and their delusions, what would the result be for young women?
This is what we have with so-called "trans people". Instead of receiving psychiatric therapy and moral counseling, they get a coupon to some quack's "medical" clinic where they can, at great profit to the unscrupulous, be re-I forced in their pathologies via synthetic hormones and life-maiming "surgeries".
